Content Manager is the imaging tool that the Graduate School uses to organize and disseminate
images of graduate student records to the various entities across campus. UTS manages CM and is
responsible for it's operation.

E-Apps is a web-based interface that permits rapid access to information on applicants to graduate programs including: search for electronic applications; email links to applicants;
applications and supplementals; IMS preadmlk data.
This IMS data lists test scores and identifies when transcripts and letters of reference are posted to Content Manager. E-Apps information is in an easy to read or print format, and is selectable to cut and paste as text

Description:
Training is mandatory for graduate instructional assistants and graduate teaching assistant at
The Graduate School. Please check the table of trained TAs to determine if a student hire has been trained.

Description:
The Graduate Council acts in an advisory capacity to the Dean of The Graduate School and to the administration,
takes action on graduate students' petitions and on faculty requests for graduate grade changes, and performs other
duties assigned to it by the Graduate School Faculty or the administration of the University.

Description:
The Graduate Director in an academic unit is a faculty member appointed by that unit to administer its graduate program(s).
The Director makes recommendations for admission, requests changes in a student's admission status, gives departmental approval
of programs of study and thesis/dissertation committees, and gives departmental clearance for award of the degree.

Description:
IMS is a mainframe database that the university uses to maintain textual student information.
It is reaching the end of its productive cycle but is still extensively used within the university.
The OneCarolina initiative looks to replace this aging technology with standard database-driven, web-delivered,
applications and portals.

Description:
The VIP student tab provides information on USC students including transcripts, current term registration,
registration eligibility, GA status, and fee class. This is useful in tracking progress to degree for enrolled
students as well for obtaining transcripts for applicants who attended USC.
